I'm planning to follow the Oracle 9i track.
I am aware of the new requirements for attending a minimum of 1 Oracle course. I have also read the other thread on this forum, and everyone's concern.
However, I have also seen that Oracle offers an on-line version of their courses for 'just' $399.
OK. not particularly cheap, but a lot cheaper than the instructor led on-site courses, and when you take into account the cost of a book or other material you would have to purchase anyway (for self-study) it's not 'too' much more expensive. Although, need to bear in mind it's only 90 days access.
And the Oracle site states that these on-line courses will satisfy the requirement for attending an official Oracle course.
So I'm planning to complete one of the Oracle on-line courses, and then probably the other three via self-study.
Cheers,
Don

Don,
The online courses at $399 do NOT satisfy the requirement for the hands-on course. The INSTRUCTOR-LED, ONLINE courses by OU at $1,500 each are the ones they refer to.
