Well I can write a stored procedure to match the user input criteria to what I have in the view, but I am curious as to whether there are better ways out there to do this. I have not touched Oracle for a couple years and I wonder if Oracle has a search engine of some sort.
The application I am working on is very much like an on-line store...we are using Oracle and Cold Fusion.
Any generaly direction would be appreciated!
