Hi all!
Working on Oracle v8i 8.1.6.0.0 with OS as NT!
Problem:
P.S:I had tried compiling the package but still things are the same! What is the other alternative to it!
1. We had created a public Synonym HRD_MASTERS for a Package xyz.
This synonym HRD_MASTERS is owned by HRD schema and had granted the privilege from HRD schema as under to all the other schemas:
GRANT EXECUTE ON HRD.HRD_MASTERS to public;
Now except MFG schema all other schemas are able to describe the HRD_MASTERS synonym as under:
Describing HRD_MASTERS throws this error:
SQL>DESCRIBE HRD_MASTERS
ERROR:
ORA:24372:Invalid Object for describe.
SQL>DESCRIBE HRD.HRD_MASTERS
EXECUTION SUCCESSFUL....
This user is just calling one particular Function:
ABC in HRD_MASTERS Package.
This was working fine since this morningtill late afternoon!
Oracle error message occurs:Invalid object.
2.To-day in the afternoon,Sql got disconnected automatically and gave the error:TNS: NO LISTNER.After sometime, sql got connected automatically once again!
What could be the problem! What went wrong!
Thanks & Regards,
Amit.
