Switching a datafile from AUTOEXTEND ON to OFF

Can this be done?
I've RTFM and can't find a suitable ALTER TABLESPACE or similar syntax.

Try

alter database datafile 'path/xx.dbf' autoextend off;

You have to RTFM again:D
alter database datafile '/???/???/datafile.dbf' autoextend off ;

Well there's consistenecy for you:

To create: ALTER TABLESPACE

To amend: ALTER DATABASE
