We are on a 8.1.5 DB on Compaq TRU64 UNIX:
There is a user, that ran a query at 8:14am, which ended a couple of minutes later, and then disconnected from the database.
Even now @ 9:11am, the query is showing up as ACTIVE, even though the user is not even connected to the database. It looks like the parallel processes (4) were never released...even the server processes are out there - not taking any CPU time though !!
Anyone seen this before.

Never mind...I figured out the issue:
there seems to be a glitch with the way the control is returned back to GUI SQL tools (like Toad's)... and Parallel Query processes
