A replication question

Hi Guys,

I have a question to ask..

We have a situation where in we have 2 servers A anb B..Wherein data is replicated from server A to server B...There are many users connected to user A.
1) The call that takes place for replication from server A to server B will be a Synchronous call or an Asynchronous one.
2) The time when the replication takes place..are the user sessions disabled/disconnected.. for that period when the replication takes place..

You can configre your server either for synchronous or asynchronous replication. The difference is that in synchronous replication, data is replicated in real-time, whereas asynchronous replication follows store-and-forward method.

During replication you can carry on your normal db operations.
