Which implementation is recomended for failover database?
I need to set up a remote Oracle 8.0 databse server to be used as a failover server when the main DB is down or in case of emergency.
Which aproach should I use..? Stand BY or Replication,
the database needs to be available from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM only.. and the max number of users is 30.
