O8i new feature questions - 02

Is the following sql statement legal?

CREATE TABLE emp
(empno NUMBER, employee person)
PARTITION BY RANGE (employee.name)
(PARTITION AtoD VALUES LESS THAN ('E'),
PARTITION EtoZ VALUES LESS THAN (MAXVALUE));

where (I guess/believe) "person" is a user-defined object type.

It is because I don't have full privileges to play O8i at WORK.
I have only O8 at HOME that I can fully play with.
It would be too late for me to know the answer of the above question after I tried to download/install O8 on the PC at HOME.
