Management Server-service (W2000) hangs during stop...
Hello guys,
I looked for this subject on this site and metalink, but I didn't find anything:
>>When I stop the Oracle Management Server-service in the SERVICE-programm, the progress bar advances slowly to 100%. After that it gives an error that the service couldn't be stopped.
After that I cannot restart the service (no active buttons). I no longer can login to the OMS-db.<<
The only option is to reboot the server? I'm at a client side and it cannot be rebooted right now...
Question: Is there anyway to free the OracleManagementService so it can be restarted?
DB: Oracle8i Enterprise Edition, patched to 8.1.7.4.9;
OS: MS Windows 2000
OEMCTRL OMS STOP doesn't do anything...
Your input is appreciated!!
