sga_target is set but v$sga_target_advice doesn't exist

At one of our customer sites, sga_target is set but v$sga_target_advice doesn't exist (don't know how it happens). In this case, would auto tuning be applicable. Other parameters are set e.g shared_pool_size, db_cache_size,etc.
SGA_MAX_SIZE is also set.

If shared_pool_size, db_cache_size,etc. are set, Oracle won't have reduced the size of these pools below the set values during auto tuning.


Any advice on this. It is 10g Relase 1 on Solaris 9.
