Oracle 8.06 on XP installation problem

Hi,

I tried to install Oracle 8.06 on XP.

The software is windows NT compatible.

After the Oracle installer asking me the location to
install, it exits.

Please help me..

8.0.6 wont be certified for XP, so there is a good chance it wont work.

However, try copying the contents of the CD onto the hard disk and run from there

I tried,,

But can I expect 9i(windows NT Version) to work on
XP..?
