Cannot start management server on Windows XP

Hi, I cannot startup the management server in services on my desktop. I keep getting "ERROR 1053:" I had to change the hostname and later modified the tnsnames and listener files. I can connect to all local databases. I believe that there are additional config files that need to be modified to include the new hostname. Do you know waht additional files that need to be changed?

What version of XP are you using? Oracle doesn't like XP Home.

i encountered same problem when i use windows xp
use windows server 2003 i solve this problem and other many problem.
