HR Schema problem

Hi,

I have just installed Oracle 10g with sample schemas. When I try to log on as HR
and the default password HR it doesn't let me in. The HR schema is installed so it shouldn't be a problem logging in.

Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

Is the HR account locked? Oracle would have popped up a dialog box explaining the most of the sample schemas are locked. Try logging into enterprise manager and look at the security manager for that schema. You should change the password to something other than HR if you are going to unlock it.
