ORA-01153 an incompatible media recovery is active

Hi guys
I need help solving this issue please

On my standby database I run the following query and got ORA-01153 below.

SQL> alter database recover managed standby database NODELAY disconnect from session
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01153: an incompatible media recovery is active

How to resolve this?

i think there is an other recovery process taking place... U should either allow it complte or stop the other process....

try OERR NUmber to get the details in the window....
