Cache advantages?? Disadvantages..

Hi Friends,
Please give the advantages of Cache for performance tuning in Dataware house project...
And also give an idea about disadvantages also.....

Now mind you, I haven't actually implemented a warehouse in Oracle yet, but my thoughts are:

- Give up on the fact table. It is highly unlikely that you will *ever* find that data you want in the cache - set the table itself to the RECYCLE pool

- The bitmap indexes should all definitely be in KEEP pool

- For the dimension tables, if you have the room - set them all to KEEP. If not, you will need to decide which ones to put in KEEP and which for DEFAULT.
