Looking for a career in Oracle DBA

Hi,


After 3 years of IT experience in the Banking Domain, I thought of shifting my career completely to Oracle. So I have completed OCP in 9i.Now I am in Dubai with my parents and is looking for openings in Junior level.

I know that information is vital for any firm and company will not risk in giving a production database to an entry level DBA. So how should I proceed in pursuing a career in Oracle? Is there any company who hire Junior DBA? What is basic level knowledge he should possess?

Could anyone please help me? I am open to relocation.

find a help desk job using oracle or something then work your way up. Junior dba positions dont really exist without experience
