Help needed on a query

Hi Everyone

I have 2 tables

1. Ships(name,country)
2. Battles(ship,battlename)

I would need to find out which country fought against each other in battles and the result should list pair of countries that fought against each other and each pair should be displayed only once.

Any ideas on how to do this?
