I am in Windows 98 and I have instaled Oracle 8i desktop editon and Oracle forms 6i and I am not able to Connect to my default database throw forms error message saying "No Listner". I tried to Configure New listener to this database and Forms but test is failing to connect to database.while installing i have installed both in seperate homes(DB,Forms).Any Suggessions will be very thankfull.

You don't neek to add listener. Just make sure that it is running.
create a tnsname in TNSNAMES.ORA found in /ORACLE_HOME/network/admin or /ORACLE_HOME/net80//admin with correct SID, HOST, PORT, etc.

Hi,
If the previous remark worked, then it is o.k since you are accessing your own pc , using tcp/ip with host 127.0.0.1
But, if that even does not work ,then try the following
Go to command prompt (Dos)
Type < lsnrctrl start >
This will start a default listener for you
