replace a word in a field

i have an addr field with the sample data as follows.

123 Wall Street
1234 Main Street #201
3402 Dowling Street, Ste 200B

i want to change all the word Street with st.
How can i do that.

UPDATE my_table SET addr = REPLACE (addr, 'Street', 'st.');
