Does anyone have the Oracle client bandwidth requirements for a LAN/WAN connection? Has anyone ever studied this? We are looking to have a WAN with 4 properties operating, this consideration is valid in relation to the networking hardware. If you have any information, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
Used in all 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps speeds. It's more of a questions what kind of application requirements do you have against Oracle.
For Oracle using NAS or SAN - no less than Gigabit connection, for all other connections - 100 Mbps would be OK.
