I have the Oracle Press Book by Jason Couchman for OCP for Version 8 and have covered all of the chapters in the book except the 8i add ons. The material has been great. I have not found his book for 8i, but I am currently overseas and good tech books are difficult to come by. I currently work on version 8i and want to become certified.
I have passed SQL/PL/SQL and also the PL/SQL test for developers, so I know how the tests go.
I wonder if anyone can advise if I should take the OCP for vs 8 and then take the upgrade exam or just do a straight 8i the whole way.
Any comments are appreciated.
