I intstalled my 10gR2 EE db in windows 2003 and when I click on the startup
program menu "database control - orcl" I always get
THIS PAGE CAN NOT BE DISPLAYED.
How do I troubleshoot this control thing? Thanks

Try
emctl status dbconsole
at DOS prompt.
See if the dbconsole is running. See also the port it uses

Yes dear, it was not started, so I started it using this...

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.PHI_ORA_T1>emctl start dbconsole

By the way....i rename my computer name to phi_ora but it still using phi_ora_t1 :(

well you need to reconfigure em if you change dyour hostname
I think you need to recreate dbconsole
more clues pls :)....do I have to reinstall it hunnies...how do I do it...it is like the DBCA?

Goto
programs->administrativetools->services
start your oracle services manually also set to automatic.
If ur instance is not started do it manually from that window.
r u using DHCP to get ip address.
if the ip-address is wrong it will not start.
