OMS must be running to monitor events?

Hi

When we schedule events and jobs with OEM if the server where OMS is installed crashed will all the jobs and events still being monitored by the intelligent agent? Or both OMS and intelligent agent must be up in order to check the events and run the scheduled jobs? I am asking this because I am deciding where to install OMS, if things work without OMS up then I will install it in my local hard drive if not I will have to install it in a server

The jobs that have been scheduled run fine, even if OMS is not running during the time of execution of the jobs. However, if you have set up emailing and paging, they will not be sent out till the time you bring back up the OMS.

How about events? Will they be monitored with OMS down?
