which script comes first ?

Hi Friends,

after creating a 8.1.7 database manually, what is the sequence of running the scripts ?
catalog.sql, catproc.sql ,catexp7.sql ?

what is the sequence in which those scripts are run ?

catalog, catproc, why you have ti run catexp7? you want to do some import frm oracle 7 or smth?

I have to import 7.3.4 int 8.1.7, so i have to run catexp7.sql after catalog.sql and catproc.sql, right ?

Run catexp7, connect to the V7 database and start your export/import process.

But i was told in the same discussion forum that I dont have to connect to the V7 database and do the import, i can import the 7.3.4 using imp utility directly from 8.1.7 database.
