I was interviewed by tcs and they put this question on me like this:
i)In your organization, there are 100 developers out of which lets say 5 are not able to connect to the oracle.
ii) Lets say that they are able to connect with 2 different session but are not able to connect one more session. As a DBA how you are going to look at this issue and what will be your action plan.
from where you find the problem and how you resolve it.
the question was asked to you - so what is your answer?
humm I answered the 1st portion of the question that may there is a problem in tnsnames.ora file and its not configured properly.
i need proper answer if any one know could u help how to handle such question
You should ask that interviewer further more questions, else u should have said i would see the error that shows in his system (according to that i would respond).other than oracle he can have other errors so the question is broadly classified..,
