Oracle 8i Client - Who's logged on.

Hi, I'm using the 8i client and the DBA is away so I don't have access to the server machine. I have normal status to logon thru worksheet.

We are on a test database which we drop and then re-create but some one has connected and is stopping us from dropping the database.

How do I find out who is connected to the test database with out accessing the server?

give select * from v$session .

That will give who are all connected as what user and from which terminals.
