ENCRYPT password entry

i have script which contains exp system/manager statement and executed automatically through CRON on unix box.(Midnight).
Is there any way to ENCRYPT password on the exp statement.

Any suggestions..

you could set up an external account and do / instead of username and password (i think this would work)
