Active DG and EXPDP/IMDP

I know we can offload the backup and reporting and select query to the ACTIVE DG instance but not sure if we can run EXPDP/IMPDP on ACTIVE DG?

Like in a read-only active Data Guard instance?
Since it is by definition read-only I see no reasons why expdp wouldn't work - on the other hand I do not think impdp would. Anybody out there, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes EXPDP works in Active DG but no IMPDP as the DB is just a readonly.
