We have installed Oracle 9iAS on Linux and trying to run the reports developed using Report 6i.
In this process, we were able install the products successfully in Linux without much of problem. But, at the time of executing a report, we are getting the following errors:
Daemon failed to startup engine
Unable to start report engine
The error number is Rep-0187.
What could be the reason for the above problem and how this problem can be resolved? Where can I get more information about resolving this problem?
