Remotr Tspe Station

Hi all,
In other databases like informix you can specify a remote tabpe station like in the pfile.
Is there succh kind of possibility in Oracle to specify a remote tape station for doing backups from rman os export or normal backups.

well you cannot somethin like that in oracle pfile..only the archived redo logas can go to a remote destination..if you want to do a remote backup you can first back it up to a staging area and move that to a remote tape using os commands..

for remote tape check first that you can execute remote commands from your local system ask your system administrator for help..
