Issues with TOAD and WE8ISO8859P15 characterset

Hi,

is anyone aware of any known difficulties with using TOAD and the above characterset? I changed from US7ASCII to WE8 for a couple of reasons, one being the requirement for strange characters (umlauts etc) and also for the Euro symbol.

Basically when I changed the characterset on a test db, the developers started complaining that their objects etc were no longer visible thru' TOAD. SQL+ is no problem. (I've read on metalink that one shouldn't use WE8ISO8859P15 with Windows clients full stop, but sql+ for Windows seems to be ok.) Has anyone ever come across this problem? I've tried with WE8ISO8859P1 and that's no problem, but I need WE8ISO8859P15 for the Euro symbol.
