Rebuilding Partioned index

hello:
I am new to oracle so excuse me if I do not address my issue here very cleary.

I loaded the database. Using DBA studio, when I go into the schemas and indexs the status of my index file is N/A. So I drop the index and ran the script to rebuild the index. It still states it is not available. What do I do?. When I run a pl/sql script it run for ever because it is to doing a full table scan.

Question is : how do I rebuild my partioned index?. And why is my index N/A in the status in DBA studio even after I dropped the index and created it?
