Sr. Oracle DBAs Knoxville/Nashville, TN
A client of ours is looking for 3 top notch Sr. Oracle DBAs! A proven leader with extensive experience is a must!
Two of the positions are located in Nashville, TN. Strong contenders for these positions will possess the following:
- 7 + years of Oracle DBA experience, including multiple years in a senior or lead role capacity (implementing, architecting, configuring, designing…more than just maintaining)
- experience with 10g strongly preferred
- experience in an enterprise environment
- proven track record with “high transaction” industry/environment
- experience with operational infrastructure requirements of a mission-critical nature (24x7, hospital, banking, military)
- capability to review, develop and design data models using standard diagramming techniques
- proven experience addressing database integration issues
- experience maintaining development, test and production RDBMS environments
- experience with database security
- capability and proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with application programmers to enhance the effective use of the databases
- experience ensuring the high availability and integrity of databases
The third position is located in Knoxville, TN. Strong contenders for this position will possess the following:
- A minimum of 8 years of progressively advanced experience in database administration work with the Oracle RDBMS in a corporate environment
- Expertise in designing and implementing database architectures capable of achieving 99.999% availability
- Expertise in managing mission-critical 24x7x365 databases
- Expertise in working with high transaction call center and web based systems
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures
- Expertise in identifying and resolving performance and scalability bottlenecks
- Experienced in developing and implementing database capacity plans
- A minimum of 4 years experience working with data warehouses
- Expertise in designing and implementing ETL systems capable of keeping Data Warehouses up-to date with sub-minute latency
- Experienced in performing effective code reviews
- Solid UNIX system administration fundamentals as applicable for deploying and maintaining databases
- Oracle Certified Professional (8i or higher) (a plus)
- Experience with Oracle 10g RAC (a plus)
- Experience with Oracle 10g Data Guard (a plus)
- Experienced in managing Oracle Financials/HR (a plus)
These are all direct hire positions in the $80,000 – 95,000 salary range.
