I am migrating a 8.0.5 database to 8.1.7 on NT. I am doing a full export of the 8.0.5 database. When I do an import on 8.1.7 I get some ORA-02264 errors "Name already used by an existing constraint". On the 8.0.5 data, the constraints were not given names, they have Oracle default names such as SYS_C002768. Apparently, on the import on 8.1.7 this system defined constraint name is already taken. Is there anyway to avoid these errors?
