Do you understand what does OBSOLETE mean?
Dear Mr. Pando,
Lesson I know svrmgrl always in the BIN directory all version in oracle I have just found dgmgrl.exe. Just let me know its cause my installation problems or what. Don’t be over smart here I have just notice here that I could not run svrmgl.exe in oracle 9i that its, you take it weak point of a man ? I think u r from India all Indians nature are same once again u show that here ok.
I dont understood why you were still asking where is svrmgrl.exe when I have already told you since beginning that it is obsolete!
Not being smart huh, purely language problems, and that is why I asked if you know what does OBSOLETE mean.
Dear Abdus,
Pls make sure that u dont hurt INDIANS again by making statement like this.........
Hi Samad,
svrngrl utility does not exist in oracle 9i.It is of no use looking for it in bin directory or anywhere. You do all the things from sqlplus what you used to do in svrmgrl
btw: where are you from?
Edit:
I am guessing you are from Pakistan :D
Dear all:
Actually its my mistake sensitively I told that because OBSOLETE meant (out of date) as a simply Mr. Pando can say that its no longer exist in oracle 9i that all right or wrong. now tell me who has language problems there..???
Sorry to all Indians except Mr. Pando here. Thanks all for your co-operation here.
Samad
Its depends what language we are talking about... was that English?Quote:

svrmgrl obsolete(not present) in oracle9i.
Samad, if you need to restart and shutdown the database and your trying to find svrmgrl, you can do that using sqlplus oracle9i onwards.
