Oracle10.2 SSL with JDBC Thin Driver

Hi,
I'm trying to get an SSL connection between an Oracle10.2 instance (running on Windows XP) and a JDBC client using a Thin Driver (JDK1.5). I configured the oracle instance as following (see also attached files):
- wallet created with already available certificate and correspondent CA
- configure ASO for using tcps protocol
- create a simple Java client
I do not want to use a certificate on the client side (1-way SSL) because the authentication should still happen via username/password.
Something goes wrong and the connection will never be stablished because the Java client hangs somewhere: any idea? Did anyone already tried to do the same?
I attached the following files:
- tnsnames.ora
- sqlnet.ora
- listener.ora
- java client, with comments

Did you ever solve this???

I have discovered a few things:

1. Encryption of transport layer only as described in the documentation DOES NOT WORK. You need to have a wallet on both the server and client side.
2. 10g R2 JDBC thin driver DOES NOT WORK. Moving to 11g driver allows for successful SSL handshake and connection.

Did not test authentication so can't say anything about that.
