Lately I applied CPUOct2006 patch for Oracle 9.2.0.6, but there is no CPUOct2006 under $ORACLE_HOME/cpu/, instead it is under /v00/5490840/files/cpu/CPUOct2006. How come?

Was that patch successful? U can check the Installed patch list by setting
> ORACLE_HOME=
>opatch lsinventory
The patch was successful. There is no CPUOct2006 under $ORACLE_HOME/cpu, I could not run @catcpu.sql for the databases.

How about re-applying patch by setting ORACLE_HOME again? What is the output of
"opatch lsinventory"?
