No more data to read from socket- Hot problem

I am getting "No more data to read from socket" error when connecting from weblogic(Solaris) to Oracle9i(Win2k),i check up all timeout parameters in init files in oracle also. But i guess all those options are ruled out.

But when i try to connect to other database in other systems then it works fine or it works after i rester the database or restart Weblogic.

could some body give correct solutions for this HOT PROBLEM.

Is this connection running through a firewall?

If so, check the timeout there.

I'd bet it's breaking your connection (pipe).

there is no firewall involved here inbetween, and i am very much aware that it is breaking the connection pipe.

Have you searched metalink for related bugs in 9i that raise this error? There seems to be a few.

any solution to this problem.. it keeps hapening everyday..
