Modify Check Constraints

Hi
How can i modify a check constraint to add one more value to the existing one. Is there any method by which we can use the alter table modify constraint.... instead of using the drop and create it again.

You have to drop and recreate to modify the list of permitted values.

For more flexibility you should consider replacing the check constraint with a foreign key to an index-organized table containing a list of legal values.
