I am using Rman to do my daily backups. Since i have enable archiving on my database, i am unable to take backups of my archive redo log files using RMAN. It gives an error saying RMAN-06004: ORACLE error from recovery catalog database: RMAN-20242: SPECIFICATION DOES NOT MATCH ANY ARCHIVELOG IN THE RECOVERY CATALOG.
I had even tried RESYNC CATALOG, but that didn't helped either.
I am using Oracle 8.1.6 on Windows 2000.
Anybody out there can help?
