And I wouldn't trust very much what a Director of the OCP Program at Oracle would say. There are things thyey can say and things that they cannot say.

You should have known what will you get once you pass the exam.
I wouldn't drive any conclusions from that fact, it can just be some kind of peculiarity from your neighbourhood ;). I', for example know about dozen of OCPs (in person), and only one of them is DBO, all others are DBAs or developers.Quote:

Moreover, concluding from the postings in this forum I would say the former director of the OCP Program at Oracle was telling the truth about OCP DBO certification not performing well. I'd say less than 1 of a 20 candidates for OCP in this forum is preparing for OCP DBO exam, the vast majority is aiming for DBA track.
You get out of it, what you put in. That's it, clear and simple.
