recovery scenario

Hi,

I am new to databases and hence need a help:

I have dropped the tables from my database without taking any kind of backup.
Now i want the data to be recovered in the database(archivelog/noarchivelog mode). How do i do that?
Please suggest me the concept and steps to resolve this issue.

however if on 10g or above the table may still be in the recycle bin which you can recover from

I've seen this very same question a few days ago... same wording... home work, isn't it?

provided the user didn't use PURGE clause. :)
