Oracle9i installation problem

hi, iam facing oracle9i installation problem with JREW.EXE on windowsXP.

Question: Why this problem occurs? Why iam not able to install oracle9i on windowsXP.

why dont you read sticky posts on top of this forum..

hi, am trying to install the enterprise edition of Oracle 9i on windowsXP. The installation goes well up till the very end when its installing optional applications:

Oracle Net Configuration Assistant
Oracle Database Configuration Assistant
Agent Configuration Assistant

I get the following error:

JREW.EXE has generated errors and will be closed by windows.

check event viewer.. btw, your insatllation of software is done i guess.. you may configure the pending things later as well using config assitants..

the windows event viewer, do you not have a dba or sysadmin to help you?

well event viewer is logs of all application and system calls.. please post the error message as to why jrew.exe went down unexpectedly?
