Backup type information in RMAN repository

Hi,
The column: backup_type in RC_BACKUP_SET table (RMAN repository) can be used to identify whether it was full or incremental or archivelog backup.

How to identify whether it was cold or hot backup?

As far as rman concerned it does not matter if it was hot or cold backup. The backup files are exactly the same
