I am also waiting for the W2K release. However, I saw Larry Ellison on a bachelor reality show with his fourth wife. Probably he will do it after the vacation.
dont you think you should ask that to some insider instead to an internet forum?

Install the Solaris release and connect from a 9i Windows client :-) The feeling is almost the same then.
