Well, my eternal search for a hobby (other than this stupid forum) has finally come to fruition -- flying lessons!
I'll soon be either ...
i) King of the Airways, or
ii) the subject of a "mysterious disappearances" special on Fox. (American joke there).
Maybe I'll take some photos so that you have something nice to put on the walls of your cubes. Heh heh heh.

Just be careful of those mountains, that is if you have land on one of them.

I could fly my little cessna into NORAD at Cheyenne Mountain! Mind, I don't think it would even put ripples in their coffee.
I am sure you are fine slimdave.. just having a bit of fun with your new hobby..
However, be careful when you travel.. I read stories about people carrying a small scissors by mistake in their carry-ons.. at the same time having a pilot license..:D
Heh heh heh. You really don't ever want to go through an airport security system with a big pair of kitchen scissors accidently left in your laptop bag.
Ask me how i know ;)
No doubt you got the 3rd degree, maybe even a little of the 4th. I kind of would like to have been a fly on the wall for that one though....:D . Your unique situation(accent) might have them scratching their collective heads a little. I think it is rediculous to ban scissors, clippers and such, people do not use commonsense anymore.

I think the other passengers enjoyed it though -- a foreign guy explaining why there's a big pair of kitchen scissors at the bottom of him laptop bag.
All pretty pointless when (as happened to me) the security guys at the only airport of a small European country, confiscate my nail clippers. Then the national airline of that same small European country serves me dinner with steel knife & fork and a glass bottle of beer. Let's not forget the glass bottle of inflamable liquid I bought in duty-free.
