Anyone manage to install 9.2.0.1 on Red Hat Linux 9? Does just following the Oracle's Linux installation guide will do the job? Do I need to perform or download something different from the installation guide? Tks.

Did it successfully last week. Installation will pop-up a couple of errors while linking. Follow the procedure in this doc to fix them.
Installing Oracle 9i R2 (9.2.0.1.0) on Red Hat 9

You need to see if the product you are trying to install is certified on the operating system.

Doesn't matter with Linux. The best thing i like about Linux is that you can tweak the OS to install any version Oracle.Quote:

Yea... Oracle will keep very tight reigns on the list of "supported" Linux releases, and rightly so. Doesn't mean it won't work, though. Go for it.
