Convert from multi node to single node

Hi All,

I need to convert a multinode 11i(11.5.5) installation to a single node installation on solaris. Has anybody done this? How do I handle the two APPL_TOPs while converting to single node.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Multi to Single node Apps cloning is not yet supported by Oracle. Here is what I did.

- Installed Vision application on the single node.
- Patched Vision to the level of Source application.
- Cloned Source database onto Vision database.
- Updated Profile options to reflect the value of Source system.

Till now, I have got no problems with it.
