Hi, sorry to post such general question here, but we are upgrading our O/S system from NT (4.0) to Windonws2000.
If anyone have had errors caused by Windows2000 after you upgraded your O/S system while still on 8.1.6/8.1.7, please let me know the nature of the error and how it was solved.

I did an upgrade of O.S. before from NT4.0(SP5) to Advance Server(Windows2000) with Oracle at 8.1.6 EE and no problem
encountered with Oracle. The machine was HP L3. Just have to be consistent with DOMAIN Name, IP's, etc.
No problems at all concerning Oracle 8i ver. 2 or 3 on Windows 2000 , Just recommending to install ver. 3 to be able to run web version of SQL+ and enterprise manager
