ORA-06553: PLS-561: character mismatch on value for parameter 'SHORTNAME'.

I encountered the above error when I'm exporting with exp on Oracle8.1.6EE/Win2k by User mode. How would you lend me a hand?

There is a conflict in the character set, and you should change it first. Then rerun.
